There's a reason Al Jolson and Dean Martin sang, "Nothin could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning." It's sunny and hot and beautiful. With all of the lush greenery and flowers blooming it is just like being in paradise. I'm back at my parent's house in South Carolina for the next 2 weeks until Summer classes start up (Summer isn't technically until June 21, but we call it Summer classes just because most of the classes fall in the Summer solstice). I'm also having the chance to take photos outside which I need more practice doing anyways. I'm such a recluse that all of my outfit photos are inside! Haha! I can't help that I'm shy. I'm having to work around a fat grey and white cat to make this post as well. Lilly has not left my side today except to eat and then she jumps right back up on my stomach. I'm glad to know she missed me as much as I missed her. Sheik, my shy baby who gets scared easily, yells at me to come pet her so I know she missed me too.
This little 80's sun-suit is one of my favorite purchases off of Etsy. I got it last year, and I feel magical in it. I love the whimsical polka dots and the open slit at the front that shows off my little white shorts from the 60's that I got at the antique shop in downtown Murfreesboro. I felt like frolicking around in a sunflower field, but I am not exactly sure where one is, haha. I'm really happy with how the photos turned out, and I can't wait to take more photos outside over the course of the next two weeks! Summer break is starting out wonderfully (except for missing Allen something awful, but I'll whine about that another time).

Magical, indeed. A perfect item for the season. Oh, and you're making me insanely jealous!
ReplyDeleteI also love this dress! Great outfit, and seriously Jess that last shot, so gorgeous, composed and editorial! Said like a judge from ANTM haha (which is my weakness).
